Bamboo is an extremely fast-growth renewable plantation grown resource occurring in most temperate and tropical climates around the world. Because bamboo is a natural product it varies in colors of tan and honey. Bamboo is an affordable way to be creative and build a tropical setting.

Plantation grown Guadua bamboo is a rustic "jungle" bamboo with distinctive pronounced nodes.
Exhibits slight bends and waviness, not as straight as other species.
Has thick side walls and is known as "giant timber bamboo".

Duracane is manufactured from the toughest UV-stabilized vinyl tube, which is hand worked to give a true-to-life authentic bamboo look. Complete with raised and rigid nodes, variegated striations and markings. Finished in top-of-the-range UV stabilized acrylic and polyurethane finishes, it is almost immune to outdoor weathering conditions. To the naked eye, difficult to detect the difference between duracane and real bamboo. No two pieces are exactly alike, just like real bamboo. Node sizes and positions very.
